After clearing out the Aurora base, Major #Zorin reveals that the plasma weapon tech wasn't there at all, and he had hope the Xi would kill Captain Blake. He claims to be in charge of the Black Legion, and declares Colonel Morales and Captain Blake and all their troops traitors. With his motives revealed, Morales sends Blake to #Atlas, a Black Legion storage facility, and also the place where they kept a Dominator for research, to rescue #Bricks. As Blake moves the base, killing his former comrades by the dozens, Major Zorin tells him of of the deal he made with the Dominion, and how, in General Kurbatov's absence, the role of the Black Legion has changed. By cooperating with the Dominion, the Legion has accomplished what Kurbatov set out to do, save humanity. Blake questions Zorin, asking him how he plans to change the Dominion's main AI directive, to destroy all humans. The major claims that he and his troops will be spared, and will remain to usher in a new generation of humanity. All he needs is the A.R.E.S. access codes to stop the Psi Power and plasma weapon tech from being further developed. During all this, Zorin gives his troops the order to kill Bricks. The Sergeant was spared though, saved by a mysterious boy and a big white dog, who put an impenetrable barrier around Bricks. Zorin, frustrated by Blake's resilience, and his own troops incompetence, sends a tank to bring the building down on everybody inside, in hopes of killing Bricks and Blake, at the cost of his troops. Blake and company foil this plan, destroying the tank before it can do catastrophic damage to the facility. With Bricks rescued, he now fights alongside Blake, and they set out to Zodiac Base, a Black Legion research location, serving Major Zorin's HQ.
