Everyday #52: Charlie Christian on Swing To Bop (Topsy) - First Solo

Happy Birthday Charlie Christian! I’ll be playing/checking this one out for a while.

Update April 24, 2021: If anybody is using this video to learn this solo, there is a mistake starting from around 0:49 to 0:57. When the chromatic notes F, E, Eb happen, I should have shifted down to first position so that the slide from D to G happens on the B string, NOT the G string as per the video. This leads to a wrong note in the phrase, a G instead of an F because the fingering was near impossible where I was playing it and I assumed he was playing the 3rd, not the 9th, but alas it was the Bbm6 over Eb7, not a plain ol' Eb7.
