With it being a regular trooper, for gaming, I’m going to try and strike a balance between neatness and speed. And I’m not going to get too hung up if some highlights are a little messy.

I’m absolutely rubbish at gaming, always have been and always will be so for me when I play a game it’s more about the spectacle of a nicely painted army on a gaming table with great terrain and just enjoying playing with friends/family. So, I will happily pour many hours into painting my rank’n’file.

Now, it’s very difficult (but of course not impossible) to paint a whole army to what we would perhaps call was a competition level standard, so I wouldn’t even try. Over the last few years I’ve come to the realisation that if I ever want fully painted armies to game with I need to compromise a little. But, I’d still like the army to look as good as it can be, both on the battlefield and in my cabinet between games and still be painted in a fairly reasonable amount of time.

So, this is what I hope to achieve in these rank’n’file videos and hopefully you’ll enjoy watching.

I know some people just want to get things painted quickly and get playing, if that’s you just simplify the steps I’m going to show you in this video and when you have your whole army together it’s still going to look great on the battlefield.

If this is a popular video I’ll do more of this type in the future.
