Indigenous abalone fishery setting an example to follow | 7.30

A little over a year ago an historic agreement was signed giving Tasmanian Aboriginal people rights to fish for abalone and profit from their catch.

Now the fishery is up and running, supplying local abalone to local restaurants and the world. Ellen Coulter got up early to help bring in the first catch of the day.
