Overview
Few fighter planes have ever been as agile as the Focke-Wulf Fw 190. Along with the Messerschmitt Bf 109, the Fw 190 formed the foundation of Luftwaffe air defense in World War II. Early prototypes proved the Focke-Wulf could hold its own against Allied aircraft like the P-47 Thunderbolt and the Spitfire.
