NEXT ICE AGE started in the early 1990s (back then under the name ICE AGE) as a project to cover various songs by Joy Division. Due to the overall positive feedback, the band quickly recognized their potential and soon began to work and experiment on their own songs under the current name NEXT ICE AGE. Driving beats, dark atmospheric soundscapes as well as psychedelic lyrics and melodies make the band a much appreciated insider tip for many listeners to the present day.

Next Ice Age begann bereits Anfang der 90er Jahre, noch unter dem Namen Ice Age, als Projekt diverse Stücke von Joy Division zu covern. Aufgrund der allgemein positiven Resonanz erkannte die
Band sehr schnell ihr Potenzial und begann schon bald unter dem heutigen Namen Next Ice Age an eigenen Songs zu Arbeiten und zu experimentieren.
Treibende Beats, düstere Klänge sowie psychedelische Texte und Melodien, machen die Band bis heute noch für Viele zum Geheimtipp.
