The Velotric Summit 1 electric mountain bike is a budget friendly hub drive ebike with a top speed of around 31 mph and produces 90 nm of torque from its hub drive motor. If you're in the market for a EMTB under $2000 this could be a good option for you. Velotric is a fast growing ebike brand that has hit the market with second wave of ebikes focusing on improved quality while also keeping the price at bay. For the money, there aren't many other electric mountain bikes packing so many features, speed, and power at such an affordable price point.
Are there cheaper options? Yes.
Are they going to still be working in a year or two? 🤷‍♂️
