The M1 Carbine was adapted for airborne units as the M1A1. It features a metal wire side folding stock and a pistol grip. Inland was the only manufacturer of the Paratrooper M1A1 Carbines during WW2. They were still marked “US Carbine Cal 30 M1” on the receivers.

This specific M1 Carbine is highly collectible due to its provenance with the American Paratroopers and the Normandy airdrop. Band of Brothers fans will enjoy this one 😁
