A fabulous antique Victorian checkerboard cluster ring dotted with five cherry-pink rubies (approx. 0.68ct) and five bright old mine cut diamonds with VS1 clarity – I colour (approx. 0.65ct). The stones are arranged in a fabulous alternating pattern, like a checkerboard, with four smaller diamonds nestled in between. The piece is modelled entirely in 18ct gold with detailed, scroll engraving carved down the sides and shoulders.
