Sanath Gamage is a well renowned Specialist Human Skills Development Trainer, holding a B.Sc. Degree in Management and a MBA.
He has conducted a number of workshops in soft skills development for the corporate sector including Unilevers, Hemas, MAS, Brandix, LB Finance, HNB, Colombo Dockyard, People’s Bank, Union Assurance, Ceylinco Insurance, CEB, SLT, Mobitel, Dialog and other reputed companies. UN, UNDP, ILO, UNICEF, World Vision are some of the donor organizations.
He is a regular trainer for ICTA under the Secretariat, with ICTA he has trained more than 10,000 government officers and 250 working journalists.
Sanath renders his service as a consultant for Government Ministries too. He is one of the most popular trainers in the Government Sector including the The President Secretariat, Sri Lanka Parliament, Government Ministries and Departments, 20 District Secretariats and more than 200 Divisional Secretariats. Further Sanath is a Senior Resource Person to the Ministry of Education where he is training Education Directors, Principals and Teachers. He has carried out more than 300 workshops for School children.
He is a coach for seven local Universities in Sri Lanka, coaching undergraduates for better employment. He conducts “Psycho Ops” workshops for Sri Lanka Army and trains HQI’s in the Sri Lanka Police. Under the Agriculture Ministry of Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council, he has conducted more than 26 workshops for Government Officers and Farmers. With the assistance of UNDP, he has transformed two model villages in Ampara Districts with Love, Care and Prosper for selected families.
As a television and a radio personality he carries out some popular programs such as “SubaDawasak” on ITN, “PunchiSenasuradha” on Neth FM, “Vacancy” on Singha FM, and “DarupetiyageLokaya” on Ran FM. Sanath is a regular resource person for popular “Illakkaya” and “NenaPiyasa” on Rupavahini and “Jeewithayata Ida Denna” on Sirasa TV.
One of Sanath’s greatest achievements is mentoring, guiding and directing more than 12,000 students for their first employment opportunity under the three different projects. DEMP and Tharuna Aruna programmes which were funded by The Asian Development Bank and monitored by Ministry of Education as well as Ministry of Vocational Training with MLG Foundation funded project which was conducted by the Youth School.
