We all know sugar is one our favorite things too eat. Its delicious and also something that people go to when they feel stressed out.

This causes a lot of people to consume too much sugar.

We should be watching how much sugar we intake into our bodies throughout the day.

Too much sugar can cause serious negative impacts on your overall health.


That is why in this video we are going to discuss 5 important signs your body is telling you that your are consuming too much sugar.


1. Increased Hunger / Energy Crash

Eating meals with sugary carbs can cause your body to have an energy crash.

This causes your body to crave more foods to basically replenish the energy crash you just had.


Sugars aren’t just found in candy.

It’s found in lots carb loaded foods like bread, pizza, pasta, etc.


These foods are fine to have once in a while but having them too much can be why your having these increased hunger levels and energy crashes.


2. Joint Pain

Too much sugar can increase your blood sugar levels.

When this happens it can cause your joints to inflame.

When the body consumes too much sugar it will react by releasing inflammatory messengers called “cytokines.”


If you have joint pain already this will make your pain worse and is a likely you are consuming too much sugar.


3. Fatigue


If you are always feeling tired though out the day this could be a big sign of eating too much sugar.

Having a high blood sugar lever, your body can store and absorb glucose properly.


This causes the energy in the body to be used inefficiently, which means the blood cells won’t receive the necessary fuel they need to function properly.

This is a likely reason to why you are feeling tired all day.



4. Dry Mouth and Constant Thirst

Another sign your eating too much sugar is having fluid loss which caused a dry mouth and thirst.

When having this constant thirst the best thing to drink is water and not sugary drinks.


5. Dry Skin

Dry skin is also a sign of eating too much sugar.

It is a direct correlation with high blood sugar levels.


This is because of getting bad blood circulation and narrowing of the arteries.

It can also be from damaged nerves that disrupt the normal function of the sweat glands.


6. Getting the Flu and Cold Often

Having too much sugar in the diet greatly enhances the chances of you getting a virus or bug.

This is because eating too much sugar could deteriorate the bodies immune system.

When the immune system isn’t at its full potential its not as likely to fight off some of the viruses or bugs that it usually could.


7. Gaining Weight

Having too much sugar doesn’t only mean a lot of calories going in the body. But it also doesn’t have the necessary nutrients to fill you up, such and proteins and fibers.

When consuming sugar the body makes more insulin than normal.

When his happens the body can’t react the amount it is producing and it doesn’t use sugar the way its supposed to be used, which will lead to weight gain.
