Alright, here's the story: The other week I wanted to just play around on Oblivion and think about what kind of video I could next make (since it's been some time) and... the PC suddenly powered down. I tried switching it back on and pop a ton of sparks fly out the back and my PSU and PC died. RIP.

So I spent the next weeks researching the new hardwares of today (since my PC was 6 years old) and ta-dah! I'm on my new self built rig here. Thankfully my HDDs survived.

I'm now testing out the abilities of this rig and thought this would suit well for a stress test: Recording Oblivion with Fraps at 60fps at 1920x1200 with everything turned to max.

EDIT: Ran fine but since the previous upload failed I re-recorded at 1280x720 @ 30fps for youtube to recognize it as a HD res.

In this video you'll see me mess around a bit with the populace of the Imperial City, nothing highly interesting and probably boring. The video is so long because I'm testing audio sync issues.

So I was testing a few things:

1) How my new rig plays Oblivion with lots of mods and settings at max.
2) How my new rig plays with the above + recording with fraps.
3) Testing the h264 codec I installed for VirtualDub and how it ends up looking on youtube.
4) If there are any persistent audio sync issues that I seem to be getting with the encodes.

I had to offset the Audio in this video by 750ms to get it synced. Hopefully it stays synced once it's done uploading.

The audio is permanently out of sync if I don't offset it in VirtualDub. But it is consistent in that respect. It doesn't gradually get out of sync... it just is from the get go, and the difference doesn't seem to change, hence I can fix it. But it's still an annoying issue. Since it's always different per video. It usually will be consistently 700ms to 1200ms out of sync, depending on the video. :/

EDIT: It was a codec related issue and I've fixed it. :)
