Holzfforma g395 Why Size Matters? Holzfforma g395 HTSS Felling Maple & One Year Review

Couple of thing demonstrated here.

1) Just sometimes a big displacement saw, even a heavy one makes the job easier.

2) Health matters It's really hard to focus and do that extra 10 percent to get stuff right when in pain.

3) That g395 is proving to be a work ready saw.... time in the woods is piling up , money coming in as a result and it's not showing anything but that run time makes it run better.

What I did to that saw:
1) Put a Lil' Red Barn Popup Piston in to replace the stock piston that had no taper, therefore rattled. BAD. Newer versions don't, mine was one of if not the first one to cross that lake.
2) OEM full wrap kit
3) OEM muffler bolts, a MUST do thing, the ones on it were really soft
4) HTSS muffler mod to keep the exhaust & chips out of my face.
5) No base gasket, three bond 1184 build. Net compression then we 160lbs.
6) OEM decomp.

THOSE were the changes and that saw hasn't missed a beat since.
