Welcome to the McCoy College of Business Hooding Ceremony at Texas State University! Held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 12:00 in the LBJ Grand Ballroom, this special event honors our Fall graduate candidates. The ceremony celebrates the academic achievements of our master's degree graduates in a personal and meaningful way.

During the ceremony, each graduate is recognized individually, with a faculty member of their choosing placing the master's hood over their head, signifying their success in completing the program. A professional photographer is available to capture these memorable moments before, during, and after the ceremony. Additionally, students have the opportunity to participate in a video presentation, expressing gratitude to friends, family, and faculty, which is showcased during the event.

This tradition, initiated in 2010, continues to bring together graduates, faculty, family, and friends to celebrate academic excellence and the journey toward becoming leaders in the business world.
