You may be asking yourself “Where Did All The Business Go?” as we are now firmly in a slightly more balanced market after experiencing an inventory and supply/demand shift.

For those of you who haven’t been doing the things in your business to be the obvious choice, you may not last much longer.

Luckily, I built my business in a much more balanced market and understand the nuances of what it takes to earn even more business in a market like this as I am an expert at “being the obvious choice.”

Todays video discusses one strategy to becoming the obvious choice in your sphere’s eyes: Become The Digital Mayor.

What does that mean? Essentially you want to be the guy/gal that everyone knows (on social media). You want people to think of you first when they see that little Facebook or Instagram icon. You want all your sphere to know that when they log in to their accounts that they can expect to see another amazing video or post by you that they benefit from. If you do that - you will become the digital mayor of your sphere in the real estate part of their social media city.

3 quick and easy tips to implement today:

1) Post a MINIMUM of 5 times on social media per week. Honestly, it should be more BUT any less and you will just be white noise in your spheres social media. They don’t all have to be videos but they should - the quickest way for someone to create a lasting connection with you is face to face…the next quickest is by video. You need to ensure people LIKE YOU and can relate with you - Video is the way to do that.

2) Send each person in your sphere (people that know, like and trust you) a individual, direct message on social media. Talk with the about what’s going on in their life and then ask for the business (I have many ways of going about this - reach out for message ideas).

3) You need to add a minimum of 3 NEW friends on social media per week. And I am LOW-BALLING. It should be way more. You always want to continue growing your sphere. But the magic is not just my adding them as a friend - you need to message them and mention who you are (COUGH you’re a realtor COUGH), how you know them (mutual friend on social) and then interact.
