Our group of Everett Mountaineers set out on a two day climb of the Easton Glacier on Mount Baker. We camped the first night at 6,300' just below Portal Camp! The next day we set out at 4:00AM to summit at 9:00AM. The route was in excellent condition and there were solid steps up the Roman Wall. We moved quickly and lightly over two snowbridges that crossed some very broken up crevasses on the way down. Thank you, Atsuko, for leading this climb!!
