It was unbelievable but true, this beautiful Bride had never had her feet wet. As a wedding photographer Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and an international destination wedding photographer I always endeavour to create something special for couples who book a wedding photography package with me.
When I was approached by a lovely couple from regional Australia to photograph their Brisbane wedding, the Bride mentioned an astonishing fact. She had never been to the sea, never had her feet wet by salt water. I thought she was joking but it was true, she had never travelled far from her hometown in the country.
We discussed their Brisbane wedding photography package and mentioned to them that I’d like to make some beautiful images of them out in the water on their wedding day. The Bride asked hesitatingly what I meant. I explained I would take them onto an exposed sandbar in the bay and create some stunning wedding photos for them that would be uniquely theirs. The beach sand bars I use for many of my coastal wedding photography sessions in Brisbane and Queensland are unique because they change with every tide. The wedding photos I make one day can’t be replicated the next which makes these wedding photos even more special!
The Bride had one more question before being totally taken with the prospect of having unique wedding photos at the beach. She asked “what about my dress and my shoes” understandably concerned. I explained we would be doing some photos for them at a couple of other locations I like to use for Brisbane wedding photography prior to going to the beach but when we get to the beach she would have to ditch the shoes and get some sand and water between her toes and her dress may get a little wet. I said for the sake of a little dry cleaning afterwards we’ll be making wedding photos that will be uniquely yours. The Bride eagerly agreed and this compilation is the result of our efforts.
