Agnès Letestu, former étoile with the Paris Opera Ballet, has a slim figure with amazing balance and control. She blends litheness, agility and strength in moves, and incorporates her perceptions into characters.

Letestu is also a costume designer, who has designed the costumes for many performances. Her stage experience helps her design costumes with aesthetics, taking into account any constraints on a dancer's movements. For Letestu, the dance and the costume complement each other.

After retiring, Letestu had more freedom in her choice of roles. She said, “In this place (the Paris Opera Ballet), we are all passers-by, and our mission is to pass down what we have learned.”
