1952 Barchick Western Trip - Reel 02

Barchick Western Trip Summer 1952.

Continuing with footage from the Grand Canyon, this reel moves onto the Hoover Dam where we good some good views and then into Las Vegas where we can see what the strip looked like at night in 1952. The quality of the night shots are quite good. We get some good looks at the Last Frontier Village, which was apparently a popular tourist stop in the 1950s. From there we move into California and get some interesting looks at what are probably movie star homes in Los Angeles. From there we head north to the Old Mission Santa Barbara to finish.
