☝️Before buying a conifer, consider factors such as deer pressure—some varieties are deer favorites while others are more resistant—along with plant preferences and sunlight requirements. Most conifers perform best in full sun, but certain types may need protection from intense afternoon heat. Foliage color can also be affected by light: lighter foliage may bleach in strong sun, while yellow conifers often lose their vibrant color in deep shade. If you want a yellow variety, look for one that is heat-tolerant. It’s always worth researching your chosen plant to make sure it thrives in your garden conditions💡
