Police response in #BD6 after reports of shots fired

The police are currently responding to an incident in #Wibsey on the outskirts of #Bradford.

Local contributors have spoken of neighbourhood policing and armed response teams arriving on Smith Avenue at lunchtime, with road closures in place.

West Yorkshire Police have said: “At 12.11pm this afternoon, police received reports that shots were fired from a vehicle towards a house on Smith Avenue in Wibsey.

“Armed officers attended.

“The damage was consistent with a firearms discharge.

“No injuries have been reported.

“A scene is in place while forensic enquiries are carried out.”
