We’re living full‑time in our RV, and this episode takes you on our first big drive into Mexico — 458 km from the Columbia crossing outside of Laredo, TX to San Pedro Parador. Our RV trip to Mexico officially begins here, and we share the full experience of crossing the border: the paperwork needed, the process of getting visas and a vehicle permit, and what it’s really like for RV travellers.

Along the way, we stop for gas for the first time in Mexico, withdraw cash from an ATM, and attempt to settle our rig into our very first overnight stay. From border nerves to rain, wrong turns, and unexpected challenges, this drive had it all.
