So today I messed up my own uploading schedule, as I was ready to post the German ICE 1 at Hamburg Altona, until I noticed just minutes before it went online that I had uploaded the video in low quality only. Being at work, and not having the option to edit the upload to the proper level of quality, I decided to forgo the German upload, put it in the place of tomorrow's slot, and instead upload tomorrow's video today! So that means we're back to another TRAXX ICRmh IC Direct upload, shot at the final official day of its service run.

Now as we know by now, some of them are still running until the entire new fleet takes over.... Nonetheless I wanted to capture the classic international and domestic intercity in several scenarios on that final Saturday, including several captures at speed! One of those shots is up for today, where I have captured the classic IC Direct at full speed through the station of Tilburg Reeshof, one of the smaller stations in the large city down south!

While having just passed a freight service, the set flies through the station at a speed which is close to the maximum of 140 km/h on domestic, classic lines. Quite the thrill, and quite the risky shot as well. Since I had to poke though the fence at the platform edge, I held on to my phone for my dear life due to the air turbulence caused by the train passing. All went well, and I got a great shot!
