The opioid crisis touches many families in Colorado, with too many lives lost to the disease of addiction. Colorado has the 12th highest rate of abuse of prescription opioids in the nation. It’s an issue I hear about often as your representative in Congress and one we must work together to change.

For the sake of those families, here in the U.S. House of Representatives, we’re taking action to stop the spread of dangerous drugs, help people enter treatment, and ensure opioids are prescribed responsibly. A national crisis requires a national response, and I’ve helped pass more than 30 bills to that end. I am committed to combatting the opioid crisis.
