The Greenland Dog is one of the rarest and hardiest dogs on planet earth having crossed over The Baring Strait with the settlers to Greenland. Genetically identical to the Canadian Eskimo dog, these dogs are now considered to be the same breed. They are so rare now, due to the modern use of snow mobiles and popularity of other sled dogs - people are fighting hard to save these hardy, beautiful and affectionate dogs.
