Davion Sykes is going into his Junior year as a transfer on the Southern Illinois men's basketball team.

Davion just finished his second year at Texas State University and is looking to show his skill and talent at a school in the 8th-ranked Missouri Valley Conference. After coming off injury this past season, Davion nearly averaged a double-double and led his 11th-seed Bobcats to the Conference Championship where they fell short to a talented James Madison team.

While Sykes is going into his Junior year, he is no stranger to winning big games. He spent his high school career playing at Duncanville High School where he never lost a playoff game and collected 4 State Championships and 2 National Championships.
