Mustang Mach-E World's First Plug&Charge

I take a 2021 Mustang Mach-E First Edition (Extended Range battery pack & all-wheel drive) to a 150 kW Electrify America charging station to see if we can get its Plug&Charge feature to work.

The Mustang Mach-E is the first electric vehicle to launch with the new Plug&Charge feature. Plug&Charge allows the owner to simply drive up to a public charging station and plug their EV in, without the need to use an app, a credit card, or an RFID card to initialize the session.

The owner must first create an account with the charging network and have a payment method on file. Upon plugging in, the station automatically identifies the vehicle, and bills the account previously established for the car.

I then record the charging session to see just how fast the 2021 Mustang Mach-E charges at a 150 kW DC fast-charge station.
