Driving the 1998 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA 2 CABRIOLET

Описание к видео Driving the 1998 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA 2 CABRIOLET

This car is the true, worthy successor to the Porsche 964 with noticeable styling and technical novelties. The Porsche 993 is the grand slam of the 911 models built between 1993 and 1998. These Porsches are widely considered the most advanced and the last of the “True 911s”; since the 993 would be the last air-cooled Porsche produced. A few of the exterior design changes were noticed on the front and rear bumpers which flowed much smoother with the 911’s lines, along with the front fenders lights, and the lights in the rear bumper were changed.

The Porsche 993 is the peak in the evolutionary progression of the original 1964 911 design. Examples of this are the five-bezel instrument panel, the horizontally-opposed six-cylinder engine behind the operator, and floor-mounted pedals that gave the driver the sensation of the original 911 in every sense.
