Every woman deserves to have a safe and healthy pregnancy and childbirth experience. Yet, women in the U.S. are more likely to die or suffer serious complications from childbirth than any other high income nation. For Black and Latina women, the situation gets worse, research tells us they are more likely to die, give birth prematurely, and suffer from postpartum depression in disproportionate numbers compared to White women.

The LunaYou Maternal Wellbeing Program was designed to put women at the center of their own pregnancy, with a ring of four key elements:

Empowering women with the skills, tools, and information she needs to increase her wellbeing
Facilitating a Circle of Support through the connection of a small group of family and friends to support each woman on her pregnancy journey
Enabling Trusted Spaces where women can share and learn from one another, without bias, and away from every day discrimination
Providing a Wellbeing Dashboard, an app where she can track her wellbeing patterns
