Sunlover Reef Cruises would like to thank the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority for selecting us to be one of the 26 high-standard tourism operators that are part of the (TRPI) Tourism Reef Protection Initiative as part of the Australian Government’s Reef Protection Package.

Our crew has been conducting reef health and impact surveys and weekly surveys contributing valuable insights into the Reef Authority’s #EyeOnTheReef database.

Other activities that we have been conducting during our 3 day per week project include:
Crown-of-thorns starfish control.
Drupella snail removal.
Development of Site Stewardship Plans.
Photo transects.

All of these initiatives are possible with the support and guidance of the @gbrmarineparks. We are looking forward to consistently improving our reef stewardship plan. Moore Reef is our backyard and we are committed to looking after it for generations to come.
