New KEL-TEC PMR-30 upgrades are here, and more are on the way. In this video, we give a first look at several M*CARBO performance parts designed to improve reliability and overall handling of the PMR-30, along with an early preview of the frame-mounted Operator Mount for red dot optics.

We start with the precision CNC machined PEEK high-performance thermoplastic replacement buffer, built to handle heat and impact far better than the factory buffer. The PEEK buffer is designed to maintain proper thickness under heavy use, support more consistent cycling, and resist deformation in demanding conditions.

We also show the precision CNC machined 6061 aluminum replacements for the factory plastic safety selector switches. These left and right aluminum selector levers are aimed at providing a more durable, positive control feel while maintaining the intended safety function of the pistol.

Finally, we introduce the upcoming KEL-TEC PMR-30 Operator Mount: a frame-mounted red dot optic solution that keeps the optic off the reciprocating slide. Mounting the optic to the frame helps preserve slide speed, maintain reliability, and support a more stable zero over time. The mount is positioned to allow use of the fiber optic iron sights while still keeping the optic low enough for a clean, intuitive sight picture.

Design Goals:
• PEEK performance buffer for improved heat resistance, impact durability, and cycling consistency
• Aluminum safety selector upgrades for more robust, positive control
• Frame-mounted Operator Mount to support reliable red dot use without adding mass to the slide
• Mount height that allows transition between iron sights and optic and helps maintain balanced handling with a loaded magazine

These upgrades are intended to address common PMR-30 reliability concerns by reinforcing critical components and optimizing how the pistol handles recoil, heat, and optic mounting loads when properly installed and tested.
