Dubai Expo 2020, How to Achieve the Transition to Sustainable Cities

Prof Hassan Radoine, Director of School of Architecture, Planning and Design (#SAPD) at UM6P presided and moderated the plenary session on “How to achieve the transition to Sustainable Cities” at the Urban and Rural Development Week at DUBAI-EXPO-2020. It was an occasion to showcase the rich experience of Morocco with Al-Omrane, OCP, CDG and AMEE in the development of sustainable cities such as Mazagan City, Benguerir Green City and Eco-Cité Zenata towards achieving SDG11 on Sustainable Cities and Communities. Prof Radoine also seized the opportunity to highlight the importance of these major territorial developments gearing towards a more sustainable and inclusive human establishments in Morocco.
