2024 GWM Tank 400 Full View Interior and Exterior 4K

The Tank 400 Hi4-T is a mid-size, body-on-frame, plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) SUV launched by GWM's high-end off-road Tank brand. It represents Tank's first PHEV-only model, following the brand's initial internal combustion engine (ICE) offerings and hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) versions of the Tank 300 and 500.

With dimensions of around 16.4 feet long, 6.4 feet wide, 6.2 feet tall, and a 9.3 feet wheelbase, the Tank 400 Hi4-T maintains a rugged, brawny styling with wide wheel arches, trapezoid headlights, and large bumpers. The rear features a swing-out tailgate with a mounted spare tire.

Off-road capabilities include a 33-degree approach angle, 30-degree departure angle, 8.8-inch ground clearance, and the ability to ford depths up to 31.5 inches. The battery pack is integrated into the frame's rear section, preserving ground clearance without compromising interior space.

Inside, the Tank 400 Hi4-T has five seats and a 566L trunk capacity that extends to 1,803L with the rear seats folded down. Premium features include a 16.2-inch main screen, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, optional head-up display, tri-zone climate control, and a 10-speaker audio system.

The Hi4-T plug-in hybrid powertrain consists of a 2.0L gasoline engine producing 245 hp and an electric motor generating 163 hp, combining for 408 hp and 750 Nm of torque. The 37.1 kWh ternary lithium battery provides up to 105 km of pure electric range, with a total combined range of 800 km. Fuel consumption on gasoline power is over 10L/100km.
