BENEFITS : Solarglide Blackout Blinds are extremely robust and offer a high degree of privacy within public spaces such as restaurants, cinemas and onboard public areas. Marine Blackout Blinds are perfect for areas with a high degree of sunlight entering public spaces. Another crucial benefit is that Blackout Blinds allow cabins and public areas to remain cool and comfortable, whilst travelling through extremely hot countries, when intense levels of sunshine are likely to enter the windows.

FOCUS : The single pulley mechanism featured is designed with a reinforced cord that runs central to the system, allowing the customer to gently pull or release the blind to their desired position. The customer has full control of the position, with an additional child safe cleat that is situated at the bottom of the blind and acts as an anchor point for the cord.

Solarglide Blackout Blinds are presented in a white powder-coated finish or a light grey profile, however if the customer wishes to 'colour match' their Blackout blind with a specific interior, we can RAL colour the cassette and bottom rail to match any interior requested.

The Blackout Blind fabric demonstrated in this particular 'Deep Dive' series is from our 'Carnival' range, which have a variety of neutral colours including Papaya, China White, Cream and so on.
Carnival fabrics block 100% of sunlight and through the material, it offers 100% UV protection and 0% light transmission.

'Dart' fabrics offer a more common colour selection such as Black, White, Navy, Bottle green and son on.
'Dart' fabrics are a flame retardant material containing fibreglass and PVC. The 'Dart' fabric itself is antimicrobial, and moisture resistant, which is very easy to clean.

The side channels attached to the Blackout blinds are an added feature and offer 100% blackout and completely optional. Another option are centre pull handles, which are designed to give the passenger complete control over the transition of the blind.

Level Pegs are also an additional option for customers to position the blind at various positions of the window.

The brush pile situated on both sides of the channels and at the bottom of the blind eliminate 100% light when in the closed position.
