Thorn lasts for 22 seconds and then turns into Calamity for another 22 seconds.
When enemy has Calamity, thorn can be reapplied to the enemy so that they will have Thorn and Calamity.

If you have the Vindictive Sword buff, casting Cursed Hour gives the enemy the Red Grudge Mark.
A grudge marked enemy will be more greatly debuffed in their damage by Calamity.
