CTI offers the manufacturing of its fully enclosed Industrial Keyboards and Industrial Pointing devices with a bulkhead cable vs. the standard USB or PS/2 interface cable. This bulkhead cable is ideal for areas which may become contaminated by debris of solids or liquids. Typically, manufacturing environments or marine and military applications find a great benefit in being able to quickly disconnect an Human Machine Interface device from a panel or cabinet.

The bulkhead cable set comes in two sections, one section that is attached to the HMI device and the other section which is mounted into a panel or cabinet and connects into a standard USB or PS/2 port of a computer which is behind the panel or cabinet.

This NEMA 4 (IP66) sealing watertight Bulkhead Cable is offered on all of CTIs Plug-n-Play Industrial Keyboards, Industrial Mouse™ pointing devices, and Industrial Motion Controllers (USB Flightstick).
