On October 7th 2020, the Virginia chapters of the Platypus Affiliated Society hosted an introductory workshop on the on-going crisis regarding American voting constituencies, followed by a coffee break to discuss.

Platypus member Ethan L (since 2016) read two short articles to open a discussion on the shift in electoral politics since the 1960s and how capitalist democracy tasks any purported Left: "Up from Neoliberalism" and "Are Black Politics in Jeopardy?"
