German Bow Technique - Top tips for beginners with David Allen Moore.

In this video, we are back with the master bassist and educator, David Allen Moore, after 6 years! We spent some time filming with David last month to revisit his hugely popular course, German Bow Technique. This interview covers some FAQs for beginner bassists looking to pick up German bow. We discuss the differences between French and German bow, the specifics of a German bow hold including the role of the thumb and the elbow, bow engagement with the string and bow hair tension.
