Welcome to Ultra Hardcore! In this game type, players compete against the environment and each other to be the last miner standing. With one big change, of course: a full food bar doesn't regenerate health - the only way to do this is to craft a golden apple (an apple surrounded by eight gold ingots) to regenerate 2 hearts.

Golden Heads (made like golden apples, but with the head of a fallen player instead of an apple in the recipe) will heal only 3 hearts instead of the usual four.
No, it's not February yet, but the WMCers are going on some dates! WMC 12 - When Miners Couple is a Teams of 4 Blind Date round, a mixture of the Double Dates and Mystery Teams scenarios (scenario plug-in by dans1988). Players are randomly assigned to a team of 2 and assigned a random, unknown allied team. On the second day, each pair receives a special infinite-use firework in their inventory that only one other pair has. Thus, you can set off the fireworks outside to find your teammates ... or perhaps find out who isn't. cue dramatic music
Standard UHC rules apply as well: no Tier 2 or Strength pots, no Enchanted Golden Apples (or feeding them to horses), Optifine Zoom disallowed, no portal trapping/camping.
