In this video I walk you through the process of creating a pH 4 buffer that can be used for pH calibration if you already have a calibrated pH meter. The same process can be done for a pH 7 buffer, although in this case you should add the potassium citrate first, then add citric acid slowly. This process allows you to buy calibration solutions only once, then create large quantities so that you can calibrate more frequently at a much lower cost.
