"Leading Together," a pilot program of the Center for Courage & Renewal, applies the principles and practices of a Circle of Trust and the work of Parker J. Palmer (author of The Courage to Teach) to promote relational trust in the adult community in K-12 schools. In this multi-year professional development program, teachers and principal teams experience reflection and mindfulness practices that they bring back to their school communities to support collaboration among faculty, staff, and parents, and to increase their commitment to supporting social and emotional learning for children and adults.
