This is a low optimized Tool Assisted Speedrun of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes

Space Jump Boots is the most important movement Item in Metroid Prime 2. All Low% Categories, no matter how different they are use Space Jump for most of the run. However, this run aims to collect as few Items as possible while NOT collecting the Space Jump Boots.

To finish the game without Space Jump Boots, you must collect the 12 following items:

Missiles
Violet Translator
Morph Ball Bomb
Amber Translator
Dark Beam
Light Beam
Screw Attack
Spider Ball
Seeker Launcher
Power Bombs
Dark Visor
Light Suit

I think it might be possible to skip Spider Ball and collect Gravity Boost instead. However, Emperor Ing 2 would be a nightmare (as seen in my 3% TAS) and you might need to IS the Hive Dynamo Works Key making this very hard run even more difficult.

How did you suddenly get Boost Ball in Sanctuary?

At 47:30 I used a glitch where I unload the room I'm in while getting shot by a cannon. This gives me a special state, which makes me invincible while in morph ball. This also gives me boost ball and allows me to quick kill Chykka adult.

What are you doing after entering Sanctuary?
A:
Holding L and Right allows me to get stuck in collision. The game tries to get me unstuck and slowly pushes me up, making me float up until I reach a certain point where i can just jump out of bounds. This method is very slow and takes about 14 minutes, which is why you should just skip it.

Q:
Why don't you skip Seeker Launcher by going out of bounds in Plain of Dark Worship?

This secret World is impossible because Screw Attack behaves differently without Space Jump.
