The name of Bucca was forgotten, and his anger began to rise.

In Cornish folklore, Bucca Dhu embodies both the fury and the sorrow of the sea, a being made of mist, storm, and memory. Some called him a demon when the tempests struck, others a god when the waters calmed. His twin aspect, Bucca Gwidder, was said to bring fair weather, yet the dark Bucca remained the most feared.

This song gives voice to Bucca Dhu himself, the forsaken spirit of the ocean, speaking to humankind that once honoured him. He remembers the days when the people brought gifts to the tide and now warns of the price for forgetting the ancient pacts between sea and man.

It is a lament, a curse, and a reminder that even in the age of reason, the sea remembers.
