In Greek mythology, Europa was initially a moon goddess and consort of Zeus.
In modern terms, Europa is the sixth largest of the 95 known moons of Jupiter, and the second closest to the mega-planet. As she orbits, Europa comes ever so closer to Jupiter's surface, heating the moons watery interior which scientists believe most likely sustains life on this level of 3-D reality.
