The DMBLUXE Helix/HX Pack features 4 Helix Presets, 4 HX Stomp Presets (+ 1 extra FX) and 4 Tone Matched IRs that seek to capture the sound of my Deluxe Reverb with “D* style mods” running thru a Two Rock 2x12 with Celestion G12-65s and mic’d with a Royer 121 and an SM545. Each preset and Tone Matched IR serves to capture the tone of each of the amps channels with bright switch on and off. The Tone is Thick like many D style as you might imagine with much more gain than a regular deluxe but with the bright switch engaged you will find plenty of clarity and top end for beautiful and soulful American style cleans.

Each Helix/HW Preset is built out in Snapshot mode allowing easy access to Clean, Overdriven and Rock sounds. (Stomp mode is also enabled and assigned) We’ve also added Lead tones and some fun stuff using effect like a HUGE ambient snapshot with stacked verbs, a pushed 808 sound and a .8th trail for a long and vibey .8th sound tone.

Notes:
You will notice and EQ block between the Amp block and the IR. This is meant to be an alternate amp voicing which wi felt worked well to compliment the amps natural character or to match to some of my different guitars. You will notice an EQ and La2a compressor placed after the the IR. These serve to make fine adjustments to the feel and high low shelving of the amp tone. While they are currently set to minimal adjustment, these are very useful for sculpting each preset to an individual. Check our Youtube channel for videos on this topic.
