After I notified dispatch that I didn't have V-boards, I was given a new load. Let me say that the weather here, right close to the ocean, in late July was totally awesome. I had to pass through residential neighborhoods going and coming in order to pick up this load from the Port of Hueneme. Security was a breeze, as all I had to do was flash my TWIC card.
