Exploring Liverpool's Chernobyl

so this land has had me baffled for years as to why it has never been developed

after recent talks with a guy i know he told me a few interesting things about the place....they maybe be not true but makes for an interesting video

part of the old Garston gasworks they used to produce coke here (coal) and it closed nearly 50 years ago and the land is polluted with all the toxins from the coke...

this has been compared to a mini Chernobyl although it may seem a bit extreme the land is the same in many ways where nature has taken over on polluted land which still to this day hasn't had anything done to it
