About Writer's Tears:

The classic Writers Tears Copper Pot Irish whiskey, created from both single malt and single pot still whiskies.

Triple distilled, this is aged in ex-bourbon casks and is a soft, approachable and incredibly tasty still. It quickly became a favourite upon its introduction to the market and is now a staple for Irish whiskey lovers.

The single malt component gives an almost floral element over the grain and ripe fruits, with the spicy, oiliness of the single pot still evident on the palate and pleasingly long finish.

Writers Tears is part of the Walsh Whiskey group, which was founded by Bernard and Rosemary Walsh in 1999. They also produce the Irishman series.
