Bent Image Lab has developed an interactive storybook based on the original 1964 animated special “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”, the longest running and highest rated holiday special of all time. This 33-page storybook will be available on the App Store and on Google Play in early December.

The book tells the timeless tale of a misfit who transforms into a beloved hero. Set in the magical world of Christmastown and the North Pole, the App takes us through Rudolph’s heroic journey as he saves Christmas with his famous glowing red nose and fearless heart. The App includes exciting activities only achievable in a digital format while staying true to the spirit and stop motion style of the original television special.

This telling of the Rudolph story features full narration by Sam the Snowman, all new stop motion animation, and a host of interactive features including a digital snow globe, a sing-along of the “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” song, coloring pages, and 3D visual imagery created with Bent’s proprietary Q-Pivot technology. Q-Pivot gives the story a new visual depth that captivates children and adults alike.

The Storybook App includes Rudolph, Clarice, Sam the Snowman, Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster, Hermey the Elf, Yukon Cornelius and all the other beloved iconic characters, plus the classic songs and dialogue from the animated special.
