Uma Devi K is a lyricist who works predominantly in the Tamil film industry. She made her debut in Pa. Ranjit’s Madras (2014) movie for the song Naan Nee composed by Santhosh Narayanan which became highly popular. She has also written lyrics for top movies like Kabali (2016), Kaala (2018), 96 (2018), NGK (2019) and much more. She is currently working as an assistant professor at Ethiraj College of Women. In this interview, lyricist Uma Devi shares her favorite book collections and ten must-read books.
